Privacy Policy
Effective October 29, 2026
- Your goals stay on your iPhone.
- No account, no ads, no tracking, no analytics.
- We never see which apps you use or what you do in them.
- We don't collect, sell or share your data.
Set the Day is made by Frobaby Productions LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the Set the Day iPhone app does with information about you.
What we collect
Nothing. Set the Day has no account, no sign-in and no servers of its own. It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and it does not send your goals or settings to us or anyone else.
What stays on your iPhone
To work, the app saves these things in its own private storage on your iPhone:
- your daily goals, Big Goals, goals saved for tomorrow and your wins history;
- your settings, such as Focus Hours, reminders and how your apps open;
- a small diagnostics log of when apps were paused and opened, used only to fix problems. It doesn't contain your goals, and it isn't sent anywhere automatically.
Screen Time and your apps
Set the Day uses Apple's Screen Time framework to pause the apps you choose. When you choose apps, Apple gives Set the Day coded tokens instead of app names, so the app cannot see which apps you picked, how long you use them, or what you do inside them. It can only ask iPhone to pause and unpause them. These choices stay on your iPhone. You can turn off Set the Day's Screen Time access at any time in your iPhone's Settings.
Reminders
Reminders are created and delivered by your iPhone itself. No reminder content is sent to us.
Backups
Depending on your settings, your iPhone's own backups (to iCloud or to a computer) may include Set the Day's data. Those backups are handled by Apple and by you, under Apple's privacy policy. We can't access them.
Beta testing with TestFlight
If you test a beta version through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may share with us the information TestFlight provides to developers: for example your name and email address if you were invited by email, crash reports, and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send. We use this only to improve Set the Day and to contact you about the beta. See Apple's TestFlight terms for details.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Settings → Start over → Erase everything. Deleting the app also deletes its data from your iPhone.
Children
Set the Day is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If we add features that change how data is handled (for example, optional iCloud sync), we will update this policy before those features are released and change the date above.
